This saint spent his entire life under the protection of the Most Holy Theotokos, who appeared to him several times in visions and healed him from fatal illnesses. A special place among his icons was held by the icon in his cell called \u201cTenderness,\u201d which Seraphim referred to as the Joy of all Joys.<br \/>\nA triptych is a work of art composed of three connected panels, usually painted or carved, which together form a single whole. In Christian art, especially during the Middle Ages, triptychs were used as altar pieces or parts of iconostases.<br \/>\nThe central part is usually the largest and depicts the main scene\u2014most often Jesus Christ, the Most Holy Theotokos, or saints of our Church.<br \/>\nThe side panels are closable and feature saints, angels, or the Lord and the Theotokos.<br \/>\nBecause of its portability, the triptych was popular in the Middle Ages among traveling believers and clergy.<br \/>\nOur triptych is made from the finest pieces of ash wood, combining iconographic craftsmanship inspired by Byzantine and medieval originals.<br \/>\nIt is produced by metal casting and meticulous hand finishing, enriched with 24-karat gold and 925 silver.
